TITLE

BACKGROUND
The City Council heard this item on August 17, 2026 for a first reading and approved it on a 4-3 vote. Staff removed the reference in the adopting ordinance for Section 1, Item F as the Separate Sale ordinance will come back to Council at a later time on the Consent Calendar. Staff also reintroduced Footnote 7 under Table 1, which codifies staff’s interpretation of how square footage applies under Table 1. This footnote was provided in the draft ordinance the PTC reviewed and recommended but was inadvertently omitted in the version of the ordinance provided during the first reading.
