OF THE APRIL 13, 2022 SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PALOS VERDES ESTATES,
CALIFORNIA
CALL TO ORDER - 5:02 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Council Members Murdock, Kemps, McGowan, Mayor Pro Tern Roos, Mayor Lozzi
Also Present: City Manager Prestwich, City Clerk Chaney, City Support Services Director Hannah, HR Administrative Analyst Thomas, Acting Community Development Director Brady, Captain Barber.
1. CITY COUNCIL FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 PRIORITY SETTING WORKSHOP The City Council conducted a workshop to initiate City Council identification of organizational priorities and agreed upon work objectives for the 2022-23 fiscal year; and formed a Council Ad hoc Committee, of Mayor Lozzi and Mayor Pro Tern Roos to assist with:
a. Refinement of draft Fiscal Year 2022-23 Council Action Plan and review of City Council Mission Statement.
b. Refinement of Council priorities in partnership with City Manager in advance of formal Council follow-up review on May 1 O; and
c. Review and develop possible updates to existing Mission Statement (for future Council review).
