OF THE CITY OF PALOS VERDES ESTATES
A Teleconference meeting of the Palos Verdes Estates City Council was held via Zoom videoconference only in order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 and pursuant to AB 361 and the County of Los Angeles Public Health Officer's recommended measures to promote social distancing. Members of the public were provided with the following information to provide public input:

The City Council reconvened at 4:02 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney John Cotti reported that for Closed Session Item 1, Conference With Labor Negotiator Pursuant to Government Code §54957.6, the City Council gave direction to labor negotiators, and for Closed Session Item 2, Public Employee Appointment Pursuant to Government Code §54957(b), the City Council voted by a vote of 4-0 (McGowan Absent) to appoint Trevor Rusin as Interim City Attorney.

There being no further business before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 4:03 p.m.
