CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm
ROLL CALL
Present: Council Member Kemps via teleconference from Montage Kapalua Bay, Lahaina, HI; Council Member McGowan, Mayor Pro Tem Murdock; Mayor Roos
Absent: Council Member Lozzi
Also Present: City Attorney Rusin, acting Chief of Police/City Manager Hellinga, interim City Clerk Cowley
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
None.
CLOSED SESSION
The City Council recessed to closed session to conference with legal counsel pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), existing litigation, City of PVE v. Duncan, et al., LASC Case No. 19TRCP00166.
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
The City Council reconvened to the Regular Meeting of July 25, 2023, at 6:31 pm.
CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
The City Attorney announced that at 6:00 pm the City Council met in open session then recessed to closed session for the item on the posted agenda. All council members were present except for Council Member Lozzi and no reportable action was taken.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the closed session was adjourned.
