Copies of the staff reports or other written documentation relating to each item of business referred to on the agenda are on file in the office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection. If applicable, materials related to an item on this agenda submitted to the Council after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection in the City Clerk's office during normal business hours. Any person having any question concerning any agenda item may call the City Clerk to make inquiry concerning the item. Upon request, the agenda and documents in the agenda packet can be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with a disability in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The City Council welcomes and encourages public participation at the Council meetings; however, to allow for the orderly progression of business, each person wishing to comment or make a presentation shall be limited to up to three (3) minutes. Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the Special Event Application and request to post signs/flags for the annual Palos Verdes Independence Day Celebration at the Malaga Cove School grounds on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

5. CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF FY 2024/25 BEACH CLUB OPERATING AND CAPITAL RESERVE BUDGET AND APPROVAL OF UPDATED BYLAWS Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council approve:
1. Proposed FY 2024/2025 Operating and Capital Reserve Budget for the Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club (Beach Club); and
2. Revised Club Bylaws.

6. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. R24-22 APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT POLICE PATROL VEHICLE (INCLUDING VEHICLE OUTFITTING) IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $79,279.00 Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution R24-22: (1) approving the purchase of a replacement police patrol vehicle in an amount not-to-exceed $79,279.00.

11. APPROVAL OF PALOS VERDES GOLF CLUB CENTENNIAL PROJECT - CLUBHOUSE RENOVATIONS/ADDITIONS Recommendation: That the City Council approve the request of Palos Verdes Golf Club to complete significant improvements to the Palos Verdes Golf Club clubhouse facilities, including a new two-story building in replacement of the current Pro Shop and bag storage & renovations/improvements to the existing main clubhouse to include enhanced and enlarged fitness areas.
