PRESENT: Mayor Pro Tem Lozzi, Council Members Kemps and McGowan ABSENT: Mayor Murdock, Council Member Roos
ALSO PRESENT: Interim City Manager Kallman, City Attorney Rusin, Community Development Director Brady, Public Works Director Seims, Treasurer Greenberg, Acting Chief Barber, Interim Finance Director Marsh, City Engineer Loriso.

WORKSHOP
1. City Council Review and Discussion of Proposed Fiscal Year 2024-25 City Budget.
Interim City Manager Kallman introduced the topic and Interim Finance Director Marsh provided a staff report. Council asked clarifying questions and discussed options for reducing the operating deficit. Council directed staff to provide an option to delay the City Hall and Parking Structure Immediate Repairs in light of the projected deficit, to revisit the staffing and contractual services budgets, in particular for Community Development which shows large growth across years, and to check for expiration of special funds. Council also reiterated the request for contractual services details and directed a review of the cost sharing function with HR Green and how revenue is getting booked.
