NOTICE IS GIVEN, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956, that at the call of the Mayor of the Paradise Town Council a special meeting has been set for 3:00 p.m., June 25, 2025, in the Town Hall Council Chambers at 5555 Skyway, Paradise, for the following purpose:
2. PUBLIC HEARINGS

Public Hearing Procedure:
A. Staff Report
B. Mayor opens the hearing for public comment in the following order:
i. Ask Town Clerk if there are any cards submitted
ii. Ask if there is anyone else wishing to comment
C. Mayor closes the hearing
D. Council discussion and vote
2a. 1. Conduct a duly noticed and published public hearing and receive a report on the Town’s vacancies and recruitment and retention efforts, pursuant to Assembly Bill (AB) 2561; or 2. Provide alternative direction to staff. (ROLL CALL VOTE) (Crystal Peters/Human Resources & Risk Management Director)
3. COUNCIL CONSIDERATION
3a. Presentation and review of the 2025/2026 Town of Paradise proposed budget. This item is only a presentation; no action is requested. The budget will be formally adopted at the July 8, 2025 Regular Town Council meeting. (Aimee Beleu/Finance Director)
Members of the public may address the Town Council only on items listed on the special meeting agenda. The Council is prohibited by law from considering any other business at this meeting.
