PARADISE TOWN COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING – 3:30 PM – May 14, 2026
1. OPENING
The Special meeting of the Paradise Town Council was called to order by Mayor Crowder at 3:34 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 5555 Skyway, Paradise, California who led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Steve “Woody” Culleton, Heidi Lange, Ronald Lassonde, and Steve Crowder, Mayor.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Greg Bolin
STAFF PRESENT: Interim Town Manager Michael O’Brien, Town Clerk/Elections Official Melanie Elvis, Assistant Town Manager Marc Mattox, Recovery & Economic Development Director Colette Curtis, Police Chief Eric Reinbold, Community Development Director Tony Lindsey, Fire Chief Garrett Sjolund, and Information Systems Technician Travis Thompson.
2. ITEMS
2a. Mayor Crowder presented a proclamation to Jill LaMalfa honoring the late Congressman LaMalfa for his tireless support of the Town of Paradise.
1. Jill LaMalfa accepted the proclamation and thanked Council for the honor.
2. Assemblyman James Gallagher praised Congressman LaMalfa for his commitment to Paradise after the fire.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Crowder adjourned the Council meeting at 3:46 p.m.
