PARADISE TOWN COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING – 3:00 PM – August 10, 2026
1. OPENING
The Special meeting of the Paradise Town Council was called to order by Mayor Crowder at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 5555 Skyway, Paradise, California who led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Greg Bolin, Steve “Woody” Culleton, Heidi Lange, Ronald Lassonde, and Steve Crowder, Mayor.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Jennifer Macarthy, Town Clerk/Elections Official Melanie Elvis, Assistant Town Manager Marc Mattox, Recovery & Economic Development Director Colette Curtis, and Deputy Town Clerk Jacquelyn Perazzo.
2. CONSIDERATION
2a. Barry Long from Urban Design Associates (UDA), and Molly McKay from Willdan led a working session to discuss Council’s vision and priorities regarding Economic Development and Incentives Policy as part of the Long-Term Community Recovery Plan Update. (420-25-011)
1. Jon Remalia supported making industrial business incentives the town’s number one priority.
2. Bill Kellogg spoke on the town’s need for a hospital, goats, orchards and fire protection.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Crowder adjourned the Council meeting at 4:56 p.m.
