THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARLIER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Parlier Municipal Code Section 2.04.110 and the incorporated "Roberts Rules of Order" and Government Code §54956, that a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Parlier is hereby called to be held on July 10, 2024, commencing at 4:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers at 1100E. Parlier Avenue, Parlier, CA 93648 for the purpose of discussing the following matter:
REGULAR BUSINESS:
1. SUBJECT: Consideration and necessary action expressly authorizing legal services pertaining to the provision of City Attorney services.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends adopting Resolution No. 2024-32, Expressly Authorizing Legal Services.

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-32
CITY OF PARLIER
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARLIER, CALIFORNIA,
EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZING LEGAL SERVICES
HEREAS, the City Council approved an Agreement for Special Services with Liebert Cassid hitmore, a Professional Corporation ("Agreement), effective June 11. 2024 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to and hereby does expressly authorize that the attorney services under the Agreement include consulting, representation, and legal services pertaining to the provision of City Attorney services and the City's agreements with Neal Costanzo and Costanzo & Associates; and
WHEREAS, the City delegates to the City Manager the authority to take any and all action necessary to facilitate the legal services.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HERBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Parlier as follows:
1. The City Council expressly authorizes that the attorney services under the Agreement include consulting, representation, and legal services pertaining to the provision of City Attorney services and the City's agreements with Neal Costanzo and Costanzo & Associates.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a Resolution duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Parlier at a meeting thereof held on the 10 of July, 2024, by the following vote:
