85 ZEDIKER AVE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS
FUND 242-6610 PROJECT NO. STPL-5252 (041)
The project will rehabilitate the pavement along Zediker Avenue from South Avenue to Fresno Street. Currently, the pavement has alligator cracking as well as transverse and longitudinal cracking, creating unfavorable driving conditions. The proposed crack sealing, chip seal, and slurry seal will extend the life of the pavement. The project also proposes to install curb and gutter, sidewalk, lighting, and street trees on the west side of Zediker Avenue. This project will extend the serviceability of the pavement on Zediker Avenue from South Avenue to Fresno Street, and close a gap in the pedestrian facilities network to increase the use of active modes of transportation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
