Mayor Gordo and Councilmembers:
The Linda Vista-Annandale Association (LVAA) supports extension of the previously adopted SB 9 Interim Urgency Ordinance to December 11, 2022, in accordance with applicable state law.
This extension of time is necessary to enable preparation of a comprehensive and effective permanent SB 9 mitigation Ordinance, including addressing such matters in the permanent Ordinance as an affordability covenant requirement, infrastructure, wildfire impacts in the Hillsides, design issues, and other considerations. We urge you to support the proposed extension of the current Ordinance.
