Dear Mayor Gordo and City Council Members,
As a board member of Planned Parenthood Advocates Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley, I urge you to pass the resolution declaring Pasadena a City of Reproductive Freedom at the February 14th City Council meeting.
Abortion rights are under attack and we must fight back to protect and expand access lo safe, legal abortions -- not only in our stale, but in our community. This is a women 's rights issue and a public health issue. Bodily autonomy and privac y should be central to our definition of citizen in this state and nation.
Pasadena is home to a known, respect ed, and trusted abortion provider. As people come into our community lo obtain the sexual and reproductive care they need, we must send a bold message that the City of Pasadena is a champion and defender of health equity and reproductive .freedom for all, and welcome anyone seeking to fully exercise their reproductive rights, including access to safe, legal abortion.
Sincerely,
Judith Brown

Hello -
The Interim City Manager, Cynthia Kurtz, seems to be assuming a hands-on role as evidenced by putting forward the resolution for reproductive freedom (which I support, thank you!). What does she have to say about firing the officers who killed Anthony McClain? We don't need to wait for a new city manager if she has full power to do what the prior and subsequent managers can. What is Interim Manager Kurtz' going to do about following through with Edwin Dumaguindin , Ronald Soreno and all involved in this wrongful death?
Thank you for your time,
Kristina

Dear Mayor Gordo and Pasadena City Councilmembers ,
I join Planned Parenthood Advocates Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley and urge you to pass a resolution declaring Pasadena a City of Reproductive Freedom at the February 14th City Council meeting.
I was previously a board member of the Pasadena Planned Parenthood & San Gabriel Valley Affiliate. Currently I am on the Board of the Planned Parenthood Advocates Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley. Although I live in Sierra Madre, Pasadena is the focus of my shopping, entertainment and social activities. I would be so proud of Pasadena if we were to pass this resolution.
Abortion rights are under attack at the U.S. Supreme Court and we must fight back to protect and expand access to safe, legal abortions -- not only in the State of California , but in our local community.
Pasadena is home to a known, respected , and trusted abortion provider . As people come into our community to obtain the sexual and reproductive health care they need, we must send a bold message that the City of Pasadena is a champion and defender of health equity and reproductive freedom for all, and welcomes anyone seeking to fully exercise their reproductive rights, including access to safe, legal abortion .
What happens at the Supreme Court matters to Pasadena .
Sincerely,

Dear Mayor Gordo and Pasadena City Councilmembers,
I join Planned Parenthood Advocates Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley and urge you to pass a resolution declaring Pasadena a City of Reproductive Freedom at the February 14th City Council meeting .
Passing the Reproductive Freedom City resolut ion will be an important step in helping to destigmatize abortion , reframe the narrative about who seeks abortion care, and shed light on the many existing barriers pregnant people face when attempting to access abortion.
Passing the Reproductive Freedom City resolution will also demonstrate alignment with an overwhelming majority of Pasadena voters who believe access to abortion should remain safe, legal, and accessible.
Abort ion rights are under attack at the U.S. Supreme Court and we must fight back to protect and expand access to safe, legal abortions -- not only in the State of California, but in our local community .
Pasadena is home to a known, respected, and trusted abortion provider . As people come into our community to obtain the sexual and reproductive health care they need, we must send a bold message that the City of Pasadena is a champion and defender of health equity and reproductive freedom for all, and welcomes anyone seeking to fully exercise their reproductive rights , including access to safe, legal abortion .
What happens at the Supreme Court matters to Pasadena. Please join me in supporting the Reproductive Freedom City resolution at tonight's meeting.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Thibault
