The Linda Vista-Annandale Association (LVAA) represents and advocates for one of the neighborhoods specifically referred to and described in the Staff Report for the above-referenced Agenda item: the proposed contract for Evacuation Planning Services. For years, we have sought improved planning for Wildfire and other disaster evacuation requirements and related mitigation measures considering our Hillsides location, and we commend the new Fire Chief for moving so quickly and effectively to implement a new planning process.
We strongly support this effort and urge you to approve the Staff Recommendation for this Agenda item.
