City of Pasadena Youth Employment Plan for Robinson Park Parking Lot and Lighting Enhancements Project
Background (Scope of Work)
Robinson Park is one of the most heavily used facilities in the City, serving approximately 400 users per day. The enhancements will make significant positive impact in the surrounding neighborhood and will allow Robinson Park to be used as a year round facility. This funding will allow for much needed improvements to the parking lot and exterior pathways which are in poor condition as well as enhance safety lighting.
These improvements will greatly enhance the experience of all visitors to Robinson Park and help bring the facility up to the high standards that Pasadena maintains.
Tasks that Youth May Perform
Due to the highly skilled labor required to perform the work, youth will not be employed for the project.
Youth Employment Goal
Under the provisions of the Los Angeles County Regional Park Open Space District's policy on employment of youth, the Youth Employment Minimum Obligation for the City of Pasadena has been met.
