Dear Mr. Weiden,
Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer Gregg Goldman has stepped down from his position at UCLA and will step down from his service on the Rose Bowl Operating Company Board of Directors for UCLA effective July 31, 2022. I am grateful for Vice Chancellor Goldman's services to the Board.
In Vice Chancellor Goldman's place, I am appointing Assistant Vice Chancellor Peter Angelis, UCLA Housing & Hospitality, to a four-year term as UCLA's new representative to the Rose Bowl Operating Company Board of Directors effective August 1, 2022.
Assistant Vice Chancellor Angelis oversees our student, faculty, and staff housing program, operates three hotels and three conference centers, and has experience in the hospitality industry. The food service program that he oversees is recognized as the top in the country for universities. He has been responsible for new construction, renovations, and acquisitions of housing and hospitality facilities and he is a strong leader who has built an impressive organization with annual revenues approaching $400 million. I am confident that his experience will ·be beneficial to you and the Board .
