Hi,
I'm a Pasadena Resident, and I would like to express my support for Brand Lamar to be appointed for the expired term of the late John J. Kennedy's City Council seat for the City of Pasadena District 3.

Thank you for your consideration

• Dear Honorable Mayor Victor Gordo and City Councilmembers:

I am writing in support of Brandon Lamar's appointment to the District 3 City Council open seat. Brandon epitomizes community engagement and leadership; he has worked for the betterment of our city for many years. Brandon has demonstrated leadership as the Chair of the Human Relations Commission, the Executive Boards of the Pasadena NAACP, and his involvement with the 20/20 Initiative.

As you well know the City Council position is demanding requiring a depth of knowledge in a broad area of topics. It also requires someone that has intimate knowledge of the district they represent. I believe Brandon has both the ability to synthesize a large array of information as well as an intimate knowledge As you look across the spectrum of applicants, I hope you will give Brandon more than a quick glance. Brandon had the courage to run for the District 3 position against the beloved John Kennedy.

While he didn't win the election, he received 41.6% of the votes. I believe he is qualified and can meet the challenge of being a councilmember.

I lend my full support for the nomination of Brandon Lamar for the District 3 City Council seat.

Sincerely,
In stellians
Tina Williams

Hello,
I'm sending you this email to ask for your assistance in your vote for Mr. Brandon Lamar.

Mr. Lamar is an amazing person that truly cares for his Community and others. For years he's gone above and beyond and has given his time to help get re-entry people on the right track. He never judged people from their past of what they have done or what they was accused of doing. He always welcome them with a smile and said what can I do to help you so you could become a better man or woman in society.

Please consider Mr. Lamar,
City of Pasadena
District 3

Dear Councilmembers of Pasadena City Council,
As a Pasadena community member and PUSD parent, 1 wholeheartedly state that Brandon Lamar should be appointed to the position that he came in 2nd place for and was vacated by John Kennedy's sad passing.

Brandon is qualified and motivated to do the job.

Thank you,
Sarah

I believe there should be a renter on the City Council. Brandon Lamar got 38% of the last vote; and he would be an excellent choice. I voted for him because we heard him speak; and he represents our values.
