Hi Susana,
I hope you are well. I gave you a call but was unable to leave voice message.
Please accept this letter as formal notification that I am resigning from my position as District 3 Commissioner on the Commission on the Status of Women for the City of Pasadena. My resignation is effective on November 2, 2022. I love to give my all to each task I undertake and at this time, my plate is full.
I am grateful for all of the wonderful experience, and for the opportunity to serve my community in this capacity for the past 3 years. It was indeed a great pleasure to work with the late Honorable John Kennedy, you and the City staff, community members, and the other commissioners. I am happy to have been part of such a great program with wonderful women who value the women and girls in our community.
I wish you, Council member Justin Jones (go Justin! He's awesome), and the commission every success. If the timing works again in the future, I would love to serve again.
