The Pasadena Management Association (PMA) supports this agenda item. We are glad to see some of our members and co-workers receive an increase in pay for their hard work, commitment, and service to Pasadena.
We support the findings by Human Resources that acknowledge salary increases will support the City's ability to recruit and retain skilled personnel. This item includes ten positions in PMA that will receive salary increases ranging from 6.1% to 17.3%. The average salary increase recommended for the positions in PMA is nearly 12.25%.
As one of very few cities in California with a Public Health Department we wholeheartedly support the salary increases especially for the clinical staff.
