Subject: Northwest Commission District 2
Hello and Happy New Year's. I am sending this email to share that I will no longer be able to participate as a Northwest Pasadena District 2 Commissioner.

I have decided to take a course of classes that I will complete by June 2023. My class schedule conflicts with our Commission meeting schedule. Therefore, I am confident this is the best decision at this time.

It has been an honor and pleasure to have had the opportunity to serve as a Commissioner of Northwest Pasadena District 2.

Please instruct me if there are any further necessary steps needed to be taken for this to be recognized and complete.

Thank you
Sincerely,
Monique Preyer

Mayor Victor Gordo
City of Pasadena
I 00 N. Garfield Avenue, Room S228
Pasadena, CA 91 IO I
Dear Mayor Gordo,
I have been honored to serve on the Recreation and Parks Commission for the past two years as your appointee. At this time, I've decided to apply to serve on the Planning Commission where I look forward to continu ing to serve the City. As a result, I must submit my resignation from the Recreation and Parks Commission effective immediately.

Thank you for your .confidence in me. I believe I made a difference during my tenure. I'm particutarly happy with the growing level of communication between City staff and their PUSD counterparts, and the reports from the Pasadena Police Department that have become a routine part of our commission meetings at my suggestion. It's important that we not lose sight of the safety of our residents while we continue to enhance programs and facilities that meet community needs.

Wi~ much~ grattY;
