RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASADENA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND SIGN ALL
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR THE CALIFORNIA VOLKSWAGEN
ENVIRONMENTAL MITIGATION TRUST FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF
REPLACEMENT ZERO-EMISSION VEHICLES FOR PASADENA TRANSIT WHEREAS, the City of Pasadena may receive state funding from The California Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund for administration, capital and operation assistance program aQd grants for zero-emission buses; and WHEREAS, the California Air Resources Board (CARS) named the San Joaquin Valley Pollution Control District (SJVPCD) as the administrative agency for the California Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund; and WHEREAS, the City of Pasadena City Council must authorize someone by resolution, as the "Authorized Individual" to make applications and administer the California Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund; and WHEREAS, the City Pasadena wishes to delegate authorization to execute these documents and any amendments thereto to the City Manager.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASADENA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Pasadena, agrees to comply with all conditions and requirements set forth in the Assurances of the California Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund.
2. The City Manager is authorized to make application, to sign all necessary documents, and to administer the California Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund with respect to applications for Local, State and Federal programs, " projects or grants, on behalf of the City of Pasadena.
3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption by the City Council.
