On the site of the Robinson Park Recreation Center at
1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave., the new facility features a larger j pool with zero-entry access; a renovated pool building with accessible showers, and restroom facilities. Project includes j a Youth Community room, new lighting and resurfaced the parking lot.
From Thursday, June 1 - Friday, July 7, the City seeks your Input on the proposed pool name: The Honorable John J. Kennedy Pool.
Please complete the online form with your support of the proposed name and/or to make any suggestions for a different pool name.
The proposed name and other suggested names from this process will be presented to the Recreation and Parks Commission at their meeting on August 1, 2023.The Commission will discuss, vote and recommend a pool name to the City Council. The City Council will approve naming the pool at a subsequent meeting.
