Subject: Resignation from EAC
Good morning Jason,
I am writing to let you know that I am resigning from the EAC, effective immediately, to focus on the growth of my recently started environmental consulting business. To be transparent, I am currently included on a proposal for a Pasadena Public Works contract, and thus need to take every measure to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest.
As the most senior member of the EAC and only municipal solid waste subject matter expert, I am grateful for your decision to continue my appointment when you assumed office.
I am still both a district 7 resident, and licensed Pasadena business owner, so I am not going anywhere! Should you have any questions in regards to waste-related legislation that impacts the City please don't hesitate to reach out.
