Sister City relationship on the African continent
Our goals and objectives are in compliance with
President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s vision, and
we are working to make PSCC a respected
non-profit entity.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower founded the Sister Cities program in 1956 to achieve international peace through a people-to-people concept of twinning U.S. cities with foreign communities all over the globe. His hope was that through goodwill, understanding, and helping other cultures we would ensure a world of peace.
Thank you for your unanimous vote in 2018 and in 2019 for signing the Dakar- Plateau, Senegal Sister City agreement which was an historical event! Thank you, to the late Councilmember John J. Kennedy for your leadership! Executive Team
