Dear City Council Members,
My name is Topher Mathers, I am a resident of district 5, and I urge you to support a plan for 100% carbon free electricity by 2030
Many of these events we are currently experiencing are the consequences of our society's century - long addiction to fossil fuels and delay addressing it and it makes me fear for the future of the generations to come
Past City leaders with all their flaws created the city that generations of Pasadena still enjoy today, and as elected officials you have that same opportunity.
By advancing policies that would ensure the future of our city for our children to live in it.
One of those policies in my mind is Pasadena going 100% carbon free by 2030
I know we are still in process, but I want to thank you for passing the carbon-free electricity by 2030 resolution, and highlight that its vital that we actually choose a plan that will meet that goal of 100% carbon free through the IRP process
