My name is Ford Pedersen, I am a student at Sequoyah School in Pasadena, and I urge you to support a plan for 100% carbon-free electricity by 2030.
All my life I have been bombarded about how the world is ending, the temperatures are rising, species are going extinct, and it's all on me to fix it. And so, now that I have learned so much about the issues at hand, I really want to make a difference. I now realize that the best way for me to do this is simply to help push forward the idea of being 100% carbon-free electricity by 2030. I don't want humanity to end or suffer because people in the 20th and 21st centuries were greedy. The world is a beautiful place that we have been gifted, and to destroy it in such a way as this is horrible.
So please, do something to help the world prosper.

My name is Harry Freeland, I am a student at Sequoyah School here in Pasadena, I am a resident of district 6, and I care about climate change and want our city to have 100% carbon free electricity by 2030. As a young member of our society, I fear what our changing planet will look like when I become and adult, and if we don't approve this I am unsure if generations after me will be able to experience the beauty we all share on Earth. Tomorrow think of not just the effects of the plan, but the effects on our future generations of kids like me if it is not approved.
