RECOMMENDATION:
This presentation is provided for informational purposes only; no action is required at this time.
BACKGROUND:
Submitted for presentation is the "Police Department Year in Review 2023." Formerly presented to the Community Police Oversight Commission (CPOC) on Thursday, January 11,2024, this presentation is an overview of the leadership transition, statistical analysis, goals & objectives, accomplishments, needs for improvement, as well as numerous status updates over the course of the year.
This presentation should sen/e as an annual Department report and will be brought before City Council every year hereafter.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no anticipated fiscal impact on the proposed action.
