Hi Ria:
I apologize for the last minute email, but I'm writing to let you know that t have to step down from the Commission. I have been dealing with some serious health issues this year and realize I haven't been able to fulfill my duties as I would have wished. I feel it is only fair that I make way for someone who can put more energy into this important role. I know this seems sudden, but after discovering additional health issues this week I realized I needed to step back from some of my work and take care of my health. I again apologize that I wasn't able to inform you with further notice.
Thank you so much for all you do and the dedication and commitment of the commission members and City staff. Please give them my best wishes and thank you for the opportunity to serve. with regret,
