Peter and I commend the City of Pasadena's Council members for moving forward to purchase one zero emissions Dial a Ride bus. This is a small start, but a significant one.
We notice UPS, PRIME and FedEx are buying electric vehicles little by Little and we stop and congratulate the driver each time we see one, asking him or herto pass on our encouragement to the company.
Pasadena is becoming a leader, in the wake of Burlington, Vermont that is the nation's leader, we believe, in city electrification. As a member of the League of Women Voters of the Pasadena area, representing 13 cities, we are excited to see Pasadena lead the way. It could be that one of our neighboring cities actually has made more progress than Pasadena! But Pasadena is catching up,overcoming
a rather unambitious past record.
