RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASADENA
ESTABLISHING THE PASADENA PLAYHOUSE PARKING METER ZONE PARKING
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, in 2002, the City Council of the City of Pasadena amended the Pasadena Municipal Code by adding Section 10.45.220, creating the Pasadena Playhouse Parking Meter Zone; and
WHEREAS, in 1993, the City Council of the City of Pasadena amended the Pasadena Municipal Code by adding Chapter 2.98, regarding Parking Meter Zone Advisory Commissions to create advisory bodies to perform the following tasks:
1. Recommend to the City Council the priority expenditures of net revenues from the parking meters within the parking meter zone for street and parking related expenditures which regulate and control traffic and parking within the parking meter zone and its surrounding area;
2. Study and examine any other parking related issues referred to it by the City Council or by the Director of Transportation which may include, but without limitation, proposed changes and amendments to the parking meter rates; and WHEREAS, property owners and tenants in the Pasadena Playhouse Parking Meter Zone and the Department of Transportation have demonstrated a true and enduring need for a Pasadena Playhouse Parking Meter Zone Advisory Commission; 1 USLSDCHVOD2W8E
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASADENA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Pursuant to and consistent with Chapters 10.45 and 2.98 of the Pasadena Municipal Code, the City Council hereby establishes the Pasadena Playhouse Parking Meter Zone Advisory Commission.
