Hi Jason and Pam,
It is with a heavy heart: and mixed emotions that I tender my resianation from the Commission on the Status of Women, effective July 5th. I will be moving with my family to to start a new chapter in our lives. This decision was not made lightly, and I will forever cherish the experience.
My time on the commission has been very rewarding, and the collaborative spirit within this team has made it a true pleasure. The friendships and connections I made here will always hold a special place in my heart.
As I transition out, I am committed to making this change as smooth as possible. I am more than willing to assist in training my replacement and ensuring that all my responsibilities are handed over efficiently. We have the commission's annual planning meeting on June 5th and plan to let the group know then. We will be appointing a new Chair at that meeting. There is another commission meeting on July 3rd, and that will be my last.
Thank you once again for the opportunity to serve the city and help the women of Pasadena as best I could. I hope our paths will cross again in the future, and I look forward to staying in touch.
