TITLE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PASADENA AMENDING TITLE 1 0 (VEHICLES
AND TRAFFIC) OF THE PASADENA MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE LANGUAGE CLARIFICATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATES.
PURPOSE OF ORDINANCE
As directed by the City Council on June 17, 2024, this ordinance amends Municipal Code Title 10 to incorporate current permit issuance and enforcement practices, clarify language and correct grammar, and remove obsolete provisions.
REASON WHY LEGISLATION IS NEEDED
The amendments provide updated language consistent with current permitting practices. The amendments remove outdated references and practices, and also clean up the overall language and grammar.
PROGRAMS, DEPARTMENTS OR GROUPS AFFECTED
The Transportation Department will implement the proposed ordinance.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action.

On June 17, 2024, Council found that this ordinance is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to Section 15378(b) as a matter of general police and procedure making.
