Dear councilmembers, mayor, and PWP,
I strongly support the city's commitment to 100% carbon-free electric energy. Closing Glenarm or converting it to hydrogen is a necessary step in this transition. We must also remember that renewable natural gas is not carbon- neutral. We should avoid investing in natural gas since this would not fulfill the resolution for carbon free energy.
