APPROVAL OF MINUTES - August 28,2023
It was moved by Member Masuda, seconded by Member Williams, to approve the minutes as submitted. (Motion unanimously approved) (Absent: None) FINANCE COMMITTEE: (JOINT ACTION) JOINT ACTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE PASADENA PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITf: ADOPT RESOLUTIONS APPROVING THE 2024A REFUNDING BUILD AMERICA BONDS (Finance Dept.)
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Pasadena Public Financing Authority:
(1) Adopt a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Public Financing Authority authorizing the issuance of lease revenue refunding bonds in an amount not-to-exceed $130,000,000 and the execution and delivery of a third amendment to amended and restated lease, a fourth amendment to amended and restated sublease, bond indenture, bond purchase agreement, preliminary official statement and final official statement in connection therewith, and authorizing the taking of certain actions relating thereto. fPPFR-32) It was moved by Vice Chair Madison, seconded by Member Hampton to approve the staff recommendation.
