Chair Jones and Committee Members,
I am writing to urge you to consider the role of rooftop solar in meeting Pasadena's power needs, and how the City can best facilitate rooftop solar and battery storage to help us meet our goal of achieving carbon free electric power in Pasadena by 2030.
Pasadena 100 has carefully studied the consultant's report and has raised a few important questions, which they will share at the meeting today.
Thank you for your leadership on this issue, and thank you to staff for their continued perseverance in working towards this goal.
