As a Christian who cares about the future of Creation, I believe our City needs to keep working proactively to import carbon free electric power and by 2030 it looks like we will be 83% carbon free if we do nothing else.
A month
ago that number was 88%; what
happened?
In either case, imported electricity generated by developers will be, for the foreseeable future, most of our electricity supply. But we need to make up the the rest--the 12 to 17%.
And that means local renewable resources.
What is PWP doing to build a
strong base of rooftop solar? I urge the MSC to push PWP to fulfill the city’s commitment to 100% carbon free energy by 2030 and continue investing in rooftop solar to help get us there.
