Dear EDTech Committee
We can no longer depend on the Federal government to address our housing and homelessness crisis.
Please increase the housing department’s budget with general fund money or please use the city's operating reserve from the $10 million in extra revenue that you received in 2025.
We need a year-round shelter and we need to pursue the motel master lease option as well as more funding to reach our affordable housing targets so that we can stop the pipeline into homelessness.
