COUNCIL COMPENSATION
1. Monthly Stipend* - updates every fiscal year based on CPI, capped at 5% -Mayor - $2,911.05/month
-Council - $1,940.84/month
Mayor annual - $34,933
Council annual - $23,290
*Monthly stipend is not based on number of meetings. There is no limit to the number of meetings Councilmembers can attend per month. Scheduled Council meetings are held every Monday.
2. Health and Welfare Benefit Allotment - Equal to same terms and under the same provisions as apply to executive management employees; $200,000 basic life insurance and AD&D policy paid by City of Pasadena
3. Monthly Telecommunications Allotment
-Mayor - $300/month
-Council - $150/month
4. General Reimbursement Allotment
-Mayor - $500/month
-Council - $300/month
5. Per term allotment:
-Computer equipment - $5,000
-Cell phone & accessories - $300
