I completely support the waiver of permit and other fees by the City of Pasadena for those who lost their homes Jan 7, 2025 to the Eaton fire. Our struggle has been immense and ongoing, and likely to continue for years to come. While the fires began about 6pm that evening, police and fire did not arrive until hours later. My home at 3880 Startouch Drive burned to the ground. Like many, I’m not sure whether I will rebuild considering the hurdles and expense we face. Please provide relief to those who have been deeply hurt and emotionally distraught the past several months as we try to find direction and a path forward. Thank you.
