Hello, I am a Pasadena Resident and Professional Environmental Scientist. We need a plan to get us to 100% carbon free power by 2030. We are quickly running out of time and it is shocking that with only five years left, after a major climate disaster and with millions spent on studies, we still don't have an actual implementation plan. Please force PWP to provide an actual plan so we can achieve this critical initiative for our city and its people. We need to expand locally sourced rooftop solar to enhance reliable carbon free power and encourage economic resilience here at home rather than having to bulldoze huge areas somewhere else and build Infrastructure somewhere else and pay fees to someone else so we can get renewable power here. The sun shines here and our citizens and municipal utility could be reaping the benefits by keeping and expanding incentives for local rooftop solar and we need the city to lead the way by installing solar on their properties also. Let's do this, let's lead the way, let's get to carbon free power by 2030 together for the benefit of us all. Let's show the world why Pasadena is a great city. 1
