Public Safety Committee members,
The situation with fireworks in our community is not acceptable. More needs to be done.

The fact that there is no rewards program is unacceptable.

The drones have been discussed yearly for many years and yet we see no drones.

The data presented with the decrease is on for the 4th, by 2 calls for service. This is negligible and shocking that it is even highlighted as a decrease. It's a margin of error, it's someone not waiting to speak to someone.. There had been well over 100 calls for service on the 4th. That's what matters.

The data for the period increased by 6% based on the period of time compared to last year. That's an increase.

Why is there a difference between illegal fireworks and "safe and sane" or as per the presentation "safe and safe" Fireworks are fireworks.

We need to do better as a city. And it starts today to prepare for 2026.

Regards,
Victor Caballero
