Hope you are enjoying a nice Labor Day.
I would like to step down from the role of the Mayor's appointee to the Transportation Advisory Commission as Commissioner after September 2025. I've been researching within my own circles for a replacement but have yet to find one. I will continue to do so.
Thank you and Mayor Gordo for the opportunity to serve the City in this way. I learned a lot and hope I was a helpful contributor to the TAG. My workload at LA Metro is simply increasing as we move towards the Olympics and the 2028 deliverables. Nonetheless, please be aware of my wish to remain a resource for the City and for the TAG for any targeted needs. I know that Pasadena also has a big role to play in the next few years.

I'm writing to share the bittersweet news that I will be departing Pasadena City College this month for a new opportunity at Claremont McKenna College. My Last day at PCC will be July 1 1.
It's been an honor to serve our community as a member of the Pasadena Media board. We've done a lot of good work together, and I'm sure much is in store on the road ahead. I am working with Dr. Gomez to find a path through this transition, and we will be in touch with more news.
