Dear Mayor Gordo and Esteemed Councilmembers,
My name is Christian Jones. I am a 20+ year citizen of Pasadena and an avid biker.
I support the contracts for design and public outreach for the Greenways initiative. The All Ages and Abilities Greenways initiative is a forward-thin king, environmentally-aware project that will create safe, multi-modal and micro-mobility options for our residents.
I want to see All Ages and Abilities Greenways built and I urge you to take the necessary steps to move this forward.
Thankyou,
Christian Jones

Dear Mayor Gordo and Members of the Pasadena City Council, I am writing as a Pasadena resident to strongly oppose the proposed plan to convert sections of El Molino Avenue into a bicycle and pedestrian greenway.
This project would:
Divert over 50,000 cars daily into nearby neighborhoods, increasing traffic and safety risks.
Remove vital parking and access for residents, seniors, and local businesses.
Waste millions in public funds on a plan that few residents support.
Further gridlock our city and harm the community's quality of life.
Environmental damage would be incurred.
It would discriminate against handicapped and senior residents of Pasadena, who rely on their automobiles for mobility and transportation needs.

Please remove the El Molino Greenbelt proposal from consideration and focus on smarter, balanced traffic management that benefits all Pasadena residents. I do not support this proposed city plan.

Dear Councilmembers,
I am a resident and homeowner in Pasadena and use a bicycle as my primary means of transportation.
Pasadena has so much potential to be an ideal city for safe, practical, and enjoyable travel by bicycle.
Investments in bicycle infrastructure are an immense boost in quality of life for residents.
I strongly support all ages and abilities greenways in Pasadena. Transportation is one of the most important issues to me as a resident of Pasadena. I think we need to move forward to build a network that maximizes the utility of existing bicycle and pedestrian friendly infrastructure.
As I imagine myself living out the rest of my life in this city, I want to imagine a future where I can feel safe riding my bicycle as an older adult and where I can share my enjoyment of bicyclingwith my spouse, who currently does not feel safe riding a bicycle on our streets.
Thankyou,

Dear Rick and councilmembers,
I support the contracts with TDG ENGINEERING, INC., TO DELIVER CONCEPTUAL
DEVELOPMENT, PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING AND FINAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR PASADENA GREENWAYS.
I want to see All Ages and Abilities Greenways built to create safe neighborhood streets. The four streets planned as Greenways - El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig - are the four lowest- volume streets that cross the 210 freeway. That makes them a natural choice for safe, low-speed travel. Greenways create low speeds and reduce cut-through traffic using traffic-calming like speed humps and diverters.
The Greenways have outstanding community support! More than 1000 people have signed petitions of support and written over 270 comments. Plus, 18 local organizations have endorsed All Ages & Abilities Greenways, including the PUSD School Board, the League of Women Voters, the NAACP, the Accessibility and Disability Commission, the Environmental Advisory Commission, and the Transportation Advisory
• Speeding and safety on neighborhood streets are major issues! El Molino and Wilson are both identified as corridors with high rates of traffic injuries by the new Roadway Safety Action Plan.
Pasadena averages 600 injuries and 5 deaths each year due to dangerous driving. Speeding and dangerous driving are a top issue for many residents. We want our neighborhoods to be safe!
Thank you for passing this without further delay,
Donna Sider, D2

Hi City Council,
I am a Long time (20+ years) resident of Pasadena. I'm writing in support of the All Ages and Abilities Greenways projects.
I prefer to ride a bike to get around the city. For most of my 20+ years here I commuted by bike. I also ride my bike to run errands, go out to dinner, shop, etc. It's always my first choice for transportation. I don't suit up to ride. I choose to ride for many reasons. It's good for my mental and physical health, costs Less, is faster, and is good for the community. I enjoy it.
If you frequent restaurants and businesses in the Pasadena, you notice that many employees ride bikes to work in the city. It should be safe for people to make that choice. I would love for a Larger portion of my tax dollars to go towards making it safer to ride a bike to get around Pasadena.
Please support the All Ages and Abilities Greenways project as a step in this direction.
Sincerely,
Bruce Moision

Opposition to El Molino Greenway Project - City Council 10/6/25 - Agenda Item #6 ISome people who received this message don't often get email fromLearn why this is important [ I ] CAUTION: This email was delivered from the Internet. Dear Mayor Gordo & Members of the Pasadena City Council, I am writing as a longtime Madison Heights resident who strongly opposes the concept of a proposed plan to convert sections of El Molino Avenue into bicycle and pedestrian greenways with the use of concrete islands, roundabouts, road diets and removal of street parking. Additionally, I oppose entering into a contract with TDG Engineering or any contractor to explore conceptual designs.
Pasadena has become increasingly congested because of the continual development and construction of both commercial and residential buildings. This needs to change to create safer neighborhoods and community.
Diverting cars into neighborhoods increases traffic and safety risks. We moved to the Madison hleights neighborhood to raise our children and provide them with a safe neighborhood. Do not destroy it as has been done to other parts of Pasadena! This project wastes millions in public funds with a plan that very few residents support.
The Roseway bike path currently goes through our neighborhood. It allows cyclists, pedestrians and vehicles to coexist. It is sufficient.
There is a relatively new three way stop at the corner of El Molino and Arden (moved from El Molino & Cornell). It is dangerous and not conducive to pedestrians crossing because vehicles cannot clearly see the stop sign. The stop is not visible because the trees on El Molino are not properly maintained and proper attention is not given to the existing sign. Trees block the stop and flashing lights would help draw attention.
Spend time and energy as welt as taxpayers money to trim trees and make what exists function better and safer, not at the cost of over millions and millions of dollars.
Please remove the El Molino Greenway proposal from consideration and focus on smarter, balanced traffic management and community maintenance that benefits all Pasadena residents.
I do not support this proposed city plan.
My best,
Dana Banta

Dear Mayor and City Council members,
I am a earless (and voting) resident of District 7 who appreciates being able to walk, bicycle, and take mass transit to meet my travel needs in the city.
I realize, however, that Pasadena must do more to encourage and support others to use different modalities. I support the contracts being presented and All Ages and Abilities Greenways that can create safe neighborhood streets.
This city has become increasingly unsafe and unpleasant for non-vehicular travel in the nine years I have lived here.
Dangerous speeding has become the norm on some of our major thoroughfares.
Pasadena has much to be proud of—its many historic neighborhoods and fine architecture, its cultural and educational institutions, its storied traditions, and most of all its diverse population and community spirit. However, being a place where children are afraid to ride a bicycle to school is nothing to be proud of.
The Greenways will provide safe routes to schools and give students the option of walking or traveling by bicycle. In short, it will allow them the experiences and agency of a normal American childhood.
The city needs to reduce vehicular traffic not only to enhance safety but also health. Conservative estimates find the amount of particulate matter in the air coming from automobile tires to be around 25%. While we can be cheered by the emissions reduction that electric vehicles bring, this statistic on parttculate matter is not improved by the transition. The tires are still grinding.
We need to be embracing micro-mobility for a safe and healthy future in Pasadena. The Greenways are the catalyst for that future.
I thank you for your consideration and all you do for our city.
Yours sincerely,
Claudia Funke

Dear City Council members,
I write to express support for the staff recommendation to proceed to advance the Greenways project and bringthis important plan to final design and implementation.
Accepting the staff recommendation is important for at least two reasons.
First, transportation is the greatest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in California and in the United States, followed very closely by electric power generation (1 -3% points less). So both of these sources of greenhouse gasses must urgently be addressed.
If we are truly concerned about the Eaton fires, we must act to address the root cause: climate change and greenhouse gas emissions from fossilfuels.
Second, traffic calming is important for safety and quality of life in our city. Bicyclists and pedestrians need to feet secure in our streets. If we want to encourage active transportation, we must support the people who chose it.
We are not talking about slowing on every street, but in selected north south areas that connect to the EAst-West greenways.
I know that some people are concerned about traffic congestion, however, their concerns do not appear to be fact based. The Greenways design has worked welt in other cities. Making sure that traffic is rerouted as necessary will be part of the design.
The informative and persuasive staff memo describes the great work that has brought us to this point. Now it is time for our city to proceed.

Dear Mayor Gordo and City Leaders:
This idea has been archived for years and should stay in the archives.
We have already tried traffic calming on El Molino north of Glenarm, only to rip out the green bumps.
Greenway sounds nice. But, as always, the details are key, and this particular plan will not address the Larger issue of effective traffic management in our city.
I also want to be on record as opposing the expenditure of significant funds to study this particular proposal.

I am a pasadena resident. I do not support a greenway on Craig Ave. I would like to see our tax dollars used to reduce costs for residents (not add unnecessary Greenways) As a cyclist who lives in the area, I don't feel it is needed on Craig Ave. I do feel it is needed on Orange Grove. If you can't add a greenway, you can at least add share the road logos in the right lane. The original greenway plan for Orange Grove was the correct plan for the street.

Hi City Council,
I am a Pasadena resident. I am both a driver and a cyclist, and have lived in the area for over 15 years. I frequently cycle, but have found the traffic and congestion more challenging in the last 5 years. I now often drive to other areas rather than go into Pasadena, due primarily to traffic and parking constraints. Creating Greenways would provide low-traffic paths that would allow easier access by bike, which would mean I would travel into Pasadena business corridors more often. This investment would lead to safer streets, and improve our community.
I support the contracts, and I want to see All Ages and Abilities Greenways built to create safe neighborhood streets.
Thankyouforconsideringthis important investment!

I am a Pasadena resident, living on Catalina Ave. in Bungalow Heaven (District 2). I support All Ages and Abilities Greenways, because they will help create safe neighborhoods.
The four streets planned as Greenways - El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig - are the four lowest-volume streets that cross the 210 freeway. That makes them a natural choice for walking and hiking, and essential for our city's biking network.
The Greenways have outstanding community support! Over 1000 people have signed petitions of support and written over 270 comments. Plus, 17 local organizations have endorsed All Ages & Abilities Greenways, including the PUSD school board, the League of Women Voters, the NAACP, the Accessibility and Disability Commission, the Environmental Advisory Commission, and the Transportation Advisory Commission.
Greenways make streets safer while allowing access for cars and emergency vehicles. Simple traffic calming, like speed bumps with emergency vehicle cut-throughs, reduce speeding while providing access for everyone.
Thousands of people ride bikes in Pasadena already. But, most people - about 60% - say they would like to ride a bike sometimes, but need safe spaces to do so. More hiking trips frees up parking spaces for drivers, reduces traffic, and makes our city more accessible and vibrant. This has worked in other cities, and it will work here too!
Speed cushions with emergency vehicle cut-throughs are a simple, low-cost traffic calming tool. They should be allowed on the Greenways. Please update the Pasadena speed hump policy to allow speed cushions on the Greenways.
10/06/2025
1 Item 6
Everyone wants to live on a safe, quiet street. Residents always want people to drive slowly in front of their homes. Building safe greenways will slow down drivers on four neighborhood streets, and so will be very popular with residents who live along those streets.
The Greenways will provide safe routes to schools, and give students transportation options. That's why the PUSD school system, as well as PCC, Caltech, Polytechnic, and the Sequoyah school all support All Ages and Abilities Greenways. Kids thrive when they get the independence, fun, and exercise of getting themselves to school.
The Greenways can't cause traffic problems in the city, because they carry a tiny amount of traffic - just a few percent of north/south travel. Besides the greenways, Pasadena has 12 high-volume north/south streets that carry over 200,000 cars per day across the 210 freeway. Building the greenways will not change any of these 12 high volume streets and so traffic will still flow freely.
We should not be fooled by misinformation from anti-safety advocates. City staff always plan for emergency vehicle access in any project. The greenways will allow residents to drive on them, so people can easily reach their homes. And, it is nonsense to think that slowing traffic on a few neighborhood streets will somehow cause traffic problem.
Sincerely,
Kristin Roberts

Hi,
I have Lived in Pasadena since 2012 and I am now choosing to raise my child here.
I have lived in different parts of Pasadena and the thing that all neighborhoods in Pasadena have in common isthattheylackafeelingof safety if you are traveling any way besides being in a car.
I support safe greenways because people of all ages and abilities should feel safe getting around the city.
My husband and I walk, bike and push our son in a stroller around the city. My mom, who is a senior with knee issues also likes to walk around with my son in his stroller. While we enjoy the time outdoors, outside of a car, it shouldn't feel like such a risk to get out in this way, but it does.
Building safe greenways around the city, and specifically the four streets planned as Greenways El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig, is a good starting point to help people of all ages and abilities get around Pasadena in a way that feels safer.
Please don't let the loud minority, who try to influence others with misinformation, dictate how we develop this city for the future of our children, and the environment. Let's move Pasadena in the right direction, and away from car-centric planning and infrastructure.
Thankyou,
BanafRahimi Mathers

Dear City Council -
I'm a homeowner on Paloma St and am so *delighted* to see Pasadena moving ahead with actions to improve medians and create pedestrian and hiking areas that are safe. I am a bike commuter who goes
2.5 mi to Cattech and appreciates the efforts. Do if Do more of it. Great use of tax dollars.
Please do these Greenway actions and stay the course! Also, I encourage you to do a postcard campaign or email mailer via the district council offices to tell neighbors what is happening.
There is a person from "KeepPasadenaMoving" who is abusing the neighborhood email list that he collected under the guise of a neighborhood association. Instead, he uses all of our neighbors' emails to spam with misinformation about "abuse of funds" forwell-thought out City actions that actually would make our community safer, greener, and a more pleasant place to be. It is gross. The best way to counter misinformation is to get out ahead. Hence, the suggestion that the council members' share the City Greenway plans in their updates so that this is the first info that folks receive rather than KeepPasMoving screeds.
Thankyou for supporting Greenways!

Dear Mayor Gordo and City CounciLmembers:
My name is Laura Fleming, I'm a District 7 resident, I
also work in District 7 at Polytechnic School. I'm
writing in support of the Greenways contracts and
want to see ALL Ages and Abilities Greenways built to
create safer neighborhood streets.
At Polytechnic School, we must adhere to a City-imposed vehicle cap, To comply with the cap, we need more families to walk and bike to school. Safety is a major concern for school parents so the more that the City can do to make it safer for students to walk and bike to school, the more student walkers and bikers we wiLL have, enabling us to meet City restrictions and reduce car traffic in surrounding neighborhoods and LiteraLLy "keep Pasadena moving", WiLson borders our school and EL MoLino is another important access street for families commuting to the school.
Polytechnic supports the contracts for design and public outreach, giving the community a chance to shape this important safety project, Please authorize them.
Thank you aLL for your service!

Dear Council and Mayor,
As a long time resident of Pasadena I am against spending millions on greenways and that doing so is begging for injuries and fatalities, when the focus should be on ending the speeding and reckless driving in our community.
Perhaps the city can revisit greenways when vehicles stop driving 60-70mph on our streets and DOT and PPD is able to provide proof that are streets are safe enough to turn into greenways, Otherwise, please stop the needless spending of precious funds on projects that endangers our community.
Speed the money to fix broken signs and improve signage, and enforce our existing traffic laws.
Vote No on Agenda Item #6.

To the Members of the City Council:
I am writing to indicate my strong and enthusiastic support for approval of Items 6 and 7, which are related to the implementation of plans to establish greenways along El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig Avenues.
My support for greenway treatment for these four streets stems from my experience as a Pasadena resident who walks to as many of my destinations as I can, from my training in urban design, and from my observations over several decades of actions that other cities have taken to improve the safety and the quality of life on residential streets. Approving the contracts to move ahead with the greenway plans will not only benefit the people who live on these streets but also the city as a whole, in that it will represent an essential step in making Pasadena a more pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly city.
Research over the decades (including that of my academic mentor, Donald Appleyard, author of Livable Streets [University of California Press, 1981]) has clearly established the detrimental effects of high traffic levels on the quality of life in residential neighborhoods and the lethal effects of cars traveling at speeds of much more than 20 miles per hour. The knowledge gained through this research has led to successful efforts in cities across North America and Europe to implement measures that calm traffic on residential streets, thereby improving safety and quality of life. Through monitoring and evaluation of these efforts, an empirically based understanding has been developed of the strategies and measures that are most effective in achieving these ends. This experience and research have inspired the initiatives proposed for El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig Avenues, and they will be drawn on in developing the specific plans to be defined through the work funded by items 6 and 7.
As others have undoubtedly pointed out, the greenway treatment for El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig Avenues is of significant strategic importance because these north-south streets cross I- 210; when converted to greenways, they will be critical elements of a citywide network of pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly streets. As such, they will contribute to the goal adopted in the city's General Plan to make Pasadena a city in which it is possible to circulate without a car.

Good Afternoon,
I am writing to you in regards to the Pasadena Greenways Project. As a resident of Wilson Ave (Wilson and Villa), I believe it is important to slow down the traffic in our neighborhood and make it safer for all of the residents.
The four streets planned as Greenways - El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig - are the four lowest-volume streets that cross the 210 freeway. That makes them a natural choice for safe, low- speed travel. Greenways create low speeds and reduce cut-through traffic using traffic-calming like speed humps and diverters.
Thank you for your time

Dear City Council Members,
I'm writing as a Pasadena resident to ask for your support of the Greenways project contract.
I bike around Pasadena regularly for work and school, and I know firsthand how important safe streets are for our community. The Greenways project would create better bike and pedestrian paths along four low-traffic streets that cross the 210 freeway. This would make it safer and easier for people like me to get around without a car.
I appreciate that the city is taking a thoughtful approach by working with professional designers and getting input from neighborhoods. It's great to see progress on street safety after waiting for so long, and understand this funding is specifically set aside for projects Like this.
Please approve this contract and help make Pasadena safer for everyone who walks, bikes, and drives here.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best, Taylor Paez

Please vote NO to the Greenways for Craig, El Molino, Sierra Bonita, and Wilson! I vote no! They are a hazard, cost too much, deter us from getting to businesses (like you did by Foothill Restaurant, what a pain), will ruin our streets and will cause further problems with even more congestion. Pasadena has already ruined Union St. and wasted our money doing it, please don't do this again. It's not good for those who live here and even worse for those not familiar with our streets, causing accidents due to confusion & hassles driving to destinations.
Please use city funds instead for more important things Like repairing our streets, sidewalks, our power plant, and/or planting more trees where they are missing, or maybe helping people who lost their homes or businesses in the Jan. 7 fire! [You've chopped so many of the old trees down, let's replace them please!]
Thankyou for voting NO GREENWAYS.

Dear Mayor and Councilmembers,
My family and I have lived on El Molino Avenue between Arden and Glenarm for over five years, and during that time we've become increasingly concerned about the safety of our street. Drivers frequently travel well above the speed limit—sometimes at speeds that make the street feel like a scene out of Fast and the Furious.
We have a five-year-old and an eight-year-old, and my wife and I no longer feel it is safe for them to play in our front yard due to the constant speeding. What should be a quiet residential neighborhood has become dangerous for families, pedestrians, and cyclists alike.
We strongly support the Safe Greenway project, including awarding the contract for its design, and we encourage the City to take all possible steps to calm traffic and make El Molino Avenue a safer, more livable street for everyone.
Thank you for your continued efforts to improve safety and quality of life in our community.
Sincerely,
Bradley C. Johnson, MD

To the city council of Pasadena,
I am against the greenways "push".
The main reason being that since "covid" there has been ZERO Traffic enforcement by the Pasadena police department.
Drivers have been getting more and more aggressive because of no enforcement.
Restricting traffic with fewer lanes, traffic circles, and bulbous comers at intersections will only cause more aggressive driving and more rage by drivers.
The problem is no enforcement and spending more tax payer dollars on make work projects will not help.
Yes, I walk, I ride a bicycle but it is rarely practical. I am not going to ride seven miles, strap my 100 year old mother to the back and take her to the doctors.

Good afternoon.
With regard to possible traffic/car Lane reductions in favor of more bike lanes, I am against this Greenway movement and the wasteful spending of local, state and federal tax dollars.
Re: Bike lanes, from my driving observations at all hours, most are rarely used and certainly not in the proportion of bikes to cars. It congests traffic and the demand isn't there.

Let's stop the deception and allocate these funds where they benefit everyone and are truly needed like road improvements not impediments, additional traffic signals, improved street lighting, and better street furniture.

Dear Mayor Gordo & Pasadena City Council members,
The Greenways initiative to alter the traffic pattern on Craig Avenue is one that I am fully against. There is no reason to change the traffic flow on Craig Ave. There is NOT a traffic flow program on Craig Avenue. However, if this lane reduction is approved it will create traffic issues not only on Craig, but on all other surrounding streets. Craig Avenue is one of few North-South streets in the area. It allows direct access to the freeway without a need to travel on one of the more crowded streets (Altadena Dr. or Alien Ave.) with multiple traffic lights. Adding a traffic circle and reducing Craig down to one lane would not only add more traffic to the above-mentioned streets, but it would also create more traffic on smaller local streets, that are unable to accommodate more automobile traffic. These are residential areas with schools, children and families. The last thing these streets need is more traffic.
This proposal is redundant and unnecessary considering the installation of a new four-way traffic signal at Craig Avenue & Orange Grove Blvd. Before enacting this initiative that costs an obscene amount of money, why not hold off to see the impact that new traffic signal has on the traffic flow on Craig? The traffic signal is not yet operational, and the crosswalks are not established. Therefore, no studies have been conducted to investigate the traffic flow on Craig and Orange Grove. I am against spending taxpayer money on a senseless project.
Twelve million dollars should be earmarked for more urgent projects in Pasadena that would and could benefit from the funding that is allotted for this ill-conceived road diet. Money could go towards improving conditions within the PUSD, creating short-term/temporary housing for Pasadena's homeless population, or even some repairs on the local freeways, just to name a few.
I remember a few years ago, Pasadena was facing a similar issue with the Orange Grove, lane reduction project. Mayor Gordo made an argument against the project by saying that if traffic is blocked on one street, there is no other alternative than for it to be redirected onto other local streets. As I recall, the Orange Grove project was supported by a group who were NOT even residents of Pasadena! I also remember that although the Orange Grove "road diet" would affect hundreds (perhaps thousands) of people, less than 100 households were surveyed and provided input regarding the initial proposal.
1 10/06/2025
ItemG
I don't know who is behind the Greenways Project for Craig Avenue, but I'm guessing whoever filed the proposal was hoping the project would be approved and completed under the radar and without the knowledge of residents. As I remember, the Orange Grove Project was also planned, designed and almost completed in much the same way.
One last point I would like to make, I am not only a lifelong resident of Pasadena, but I am also involved in The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. I have unique experience in dealing with residents and guests of Pasadena during Parade time. Our streets are crowded with people unfamiliar to the area. Other streets are closed to traffic altogether. Do you really want to make it harder to get around Pasadena by voting for a proposal that reduces lanes on one of the streets that remains open during Parade & Game time?
Do the research. Put in the manpower to investigate what impact the Greenways project would have on residents, before committing millions of dollars to an unwanted, un-needed proposal I appreciate your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Santilena,
Resident

Attention: Hon. Pasadena City Council Members, Mayor and City Manager and alt interested parties
Attached please find our initial petition by Pasadena Residents and Business Owners who are impacted by the planned EL Molino Greenway Project. More signatures will be forthcoming.
We are objecting and opposing this plan to impose serious traffic impediments to the entirety of a vital North South street intended to delay and re-route over 50,000 cars per day to benefit only a limited few Pasadena citizens.
Each of the signatures have been verified and witnessed as to the genuineness of the identity of the signers, along with verbal verifications that the petitioners have no financial interests in the project or the outcome of the City Council votes. Each signature against this El Molino Greenway has not received any
outreach or written communications from the City of Pasadena, Council Members or their staff and the signers are concerned that insufficient notices have been given for the purpose of public commentary input prior to any voting on vendor contracts or matters of public interest. For a decade old plan, this lack of outreach for public commentary is patently outrageous.
This lack of outreach and transparency by the City of Pasadena raises serious Legal and due diligence questions. As to why those most affected by the
Greenway Plans have been left in the dark and their opposition has been intentionally suppressed by the City Council prior to important public hearings regarding the costs and effects of the planned conversion of this vital public transportation street.
The Petitioners urge the City Council to STOP this project and survey all affected residents and businesses within 1/2 mile of EL Motino Avenue to determine if they are for or against this plan by a democratic poll process.
Citizens of Pasadena are owed this expected level of honesty by their elected representatives. 1 10/06/2025

As third generation resident and business owner I've seen Pasadena grow and thrive, but I'm concerned that with additional growth the strain placed on the city's streets and roadways is no longer sustainable.
Implementation of proposed "Greenway's" would only compound vehicle traffic congestion placing cyclists and pedestrians in even greater danger; Union St is a perfect example of an accident waiting to happen. Like Orange Grove proposed "Road Diet" a few years ago, a smarter approach would be to allocate limited resources toward improved street maintenance and avoid costly mistakes.
Respectfully,
Chris Robertson,

Sincerely,
Laurice Becker
