Good morning all! RB, let me know if there is anything I have missed in the below email.

If you don't have any changes, could Patricia send this email on my behalf to the Mayor and City Council members, and any other required folks (Mayoral staff?), and at the bottom of this email, if Patricia doesn't mind, could you add a ec for Division staff, with each persons name and title, and a ec for Commissioner Lazardo, and include all in the ec portion of the email recipients. Thanks, I know this info is at Patricia's fingertips, and will more likely be done correctly than by me looking each item up separately - so thank you all in advance! My main goal is to get Council members to take action in making new appointments!
See you all Wednesday! Many thank, Blair
Dear Mayor Gordo and Members of the City Council,
I am writing to formally announce my retirement from the City of Pasadena's Arts & Culture Commission, effective January 15, 2026. With extended travel plans ahead this spring, I believe it is in the best interest of the Commission to appoint a new member who can fully engage in the work of the coming year.

It has been an honor to serve the City on the Arts & Culture Commission for the past five and a half years. I have been deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Pasadena's cultural landscape and to support the important work of the Cultural Affairs Division. During my tenure—including as Commission Chair and Public Art Subcommittee Chair — I have been privileged to work alongside thoughtful colleagues and dedicated staff in advancing the City's commitment to the arts.

As I prepare to conclude my service, I respectfully remind the Council that, in addition to my upcoming vacancy, the Commission's District 1 and District 4 seats are also due for 1Meeting of: 1/26/2026

appointment. In making these selections, I urge the Council to prioritize professional qualifications and relevant experience in the arts, public art administration, or related fields. The effectiveness of the Commission—and the strength of its recommendations— depends on the insight and discernment that knowledgeable commissioners bring to the table.

Thank you again for the opportunity to serve. It has been a privilege to support and advocate for the arts in Pasadena, a city whose creative and cultural life continues to inspire me.

With gratitude,
Blair S. Hansen
Commissioner, Arts & Culture Commission

Re: Resignation from the Rose Bowl Operating Company Board Dear Mr. Jomsky:

Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from the Rose Bowl Operating Company Board ("RBOC"). Pursuant to City procedure, this resignation shall be effective upon acceptance by the City Council. At this time, certain priorities have arisen in life that will prevent me from fulfilling the responsibilities of the position in good faith. Given that reality, stepping aside is the most responsible path forward.

It has been a privilege to serve on the RBOC. My service has provided useful insight into how civic bodies operate in connection with the management and stewardship of a significant public asset. I am particularly grateful to my fellow community members serving as Board Members, who consistently approached their responsibilities with sincerity, diligence, and a genuine love for Pasadena. The relationships and conversations formed through this work have been the most rewarding aspect of my service.

I remain appreciative of the opportunity to have served, and I genuinely wish the RBOC continued success as it carries out its important work on behalf of the City of Pasadena and America's Stadium.

Respectfully submitted,
< ^u~
