RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Cinf OF PASADENA
APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE CITY'S GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO SIGN SAID RENEWAL ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, AND TO
REQUEST FROM VARIOUS FUNCTIONS AND SERVICES UNDER SAID
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, on August 31, 2001 , the City of Pasadena and the County of Los Angeles entered into General Services Agreement No. 17,620 (County No. 73625) ("Agreement"), which enabled the City to obtain various functions and services from the County at rates established annually by the County Auditor-Controller; and WHEREAS, said Agreement was subsequently renewed as memorialized in General Services Agreement Nos. 17,620-1, 17,620-2, and 17-620-3, with the current term ending June 30, 2026, unless renewed; and
WHEREAS, renewal of the said Agreement for an additional five-year term is recommended so that sen/ices may be obtained in a timely and cost-effective manner; and
WHEREAS, the Pasadena City Council wishes to designate an officer or designee to request various functions and services pursuant to Section 5 of said renewed Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pasadena that:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct; and Section 2. The City Council approves the renewal of the General Services Agreement between the City of Pasadena and the County of Los Angeles for an additional five-years for the period commencing July 1 ,2026,and ending June 30, 2031.

Section 3. The City Manager and his designee shall administer this renewed Agreement, and the City Manager, Director of Public Works, City Engineer and designees may request various functions and services pursuant to Section 5 of said Agreement.
