An unforecasted repair to the New York Drive bridge was required this year after LA County discovered a structural deficiency. Funds are needed to pay for the City's share of this repair.

Funding will be used for the FY 2026 resurfacing project.

Applied for and made short list for a $4.5M federal earmark for construction. These funds are needed for matching contribution and final design.

Prop A is designated funding for local transit (operating and capital expenses). Also includes bus service improvements. This is a bus service improvement project and is currently under construction. All appropriated funds are needed to complete the project.

This project directly supports the City Council's Top 5 Priority of improving safety. This project is funded through the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is a project identified in the TRF nexus study. Projects must be included in the TRF Nexus Study to receive TRF funding. The project concept design phase and preliminary cost estimates are complete.

This project directly supports the City Council's Top 5 Priority of improving safety. The project includes Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at Villa/Chester, Arroyo/Seco, and
Bellefontaine/Fairmount. General fund and TRF are used for local match(es) to state grants and pay for indirect administrative costs, such as Program E. This project received Local Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 funding of $324,630, with a local match of $36,070. Redirecting this balance would eliminate the local match and jeopardize the City's ability to draw down the associated grant funds, effectively canceling the grant and the project. Moreover, additional funding is needed to cover construction shortfalls for RRFBs at Marengo/Wallis and Howard and Hill in the amount of $63,479. This project is also partially funded by the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is identified in the TRF nexus study. Projects must be included in the TRF Nexus Study to receive TRF funding.

Active project - used to systematically upgrade safety lighting at intersections.

Active project - used to refurbish and rehabilitate existing street lighting systems including the repair/replacement of aging infrastruction. Also use for wire theft replacements.

This project directly supports the City Council's Top 5 Priority of improving roadways and implementing pedestrian and bicycle safety strategies. The project includes Reflective Backplates at various locations per the Focused Local Roadway Safety Action Plan. This project was awarded in HSIP Cycle 11, with a grant amount of $397,710 and a local match of $44,000. Some of the grant funds have been spent on design. Redirecting this balance would eliminate the local match and jeopardize the City's ability to draw down the associated grant funds, effectively canceling the grant and the project. This project supports implementation of safety updgrades that are typically not eligible for grants; DOT relies on the current funding to further advance safety. Partially funded through the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is a project identified in the TRF nexus study. Projects must be included in the TRF Nexus Study to receive TRF funding.

This project directly supports the City Council's Top 5 Priority of improving roadways and implementing pedestrian and bicycle safety strategies. This project supports the replacement of ITS equipment with new technologies. These upgrades are typically not eligible for grants; DOT relies on the current funding sources to bring supportive traffic signal equipment up to date. The funding also supports ongoing contracts for the work. Partially funded through the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is a project identified in the TRF nexus study. Projects must be included in the TRF Nexus Study to receive TRF funding.

This project advances the City's Zero Emission Rollout Plan to construct a fueling station for the hydrogen buses expected to be delivered this calendar year. Prop A and C funding would be used as a local match for the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program Grant for a grant amount of $6.1M. The loss of funding to the hydrogen project would not be an isolated budget cut, it would be a structural threat to our entire transit asset management plan, as well as the ability to maintain service delivery. Furthermore, it would jeopardize our standing with Caltrans, FTA, and CARB by failing to deliver commitments we have already made.

This Project is nearing completion and will be consolidated with CIP #75524. The remaining balance will be available for transfer upon close- out.

Project is in the intial planning phases, with outreach and conceptual design anticipated to begin in alignment with the adopted plan.

Available balance may also serve as local match if a grant is secured.

Redirecting funds would delay project initiation and eliminate local match capacity for future grant opportunities.

The local return funds are intentionally earmarked for essential accessibility/ADA/safety improvements, critical for liability purposes and risk mitigation at bus stops citywide, not to mention our very pressing customer demand we get constantly. Very critically the funds in this project enable the City to predictably be able to respond to identified urgent needs in the bus stops. Also, following the SRTP this funding will be used toward implementing the bus stop improvement program as outlined in the plan.

This project is moving forward and directly supports the City Council Top 5 Priority of improving roadways and implementing pedestrian and bicycle safety strategies. This project is fundedthrough the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is a project identified in the TRF nexus study.

Projects must be included in the TRF Nexus Study to receive TRF funding.

This project was requested by Playhouse Village Association to review the feasibility and safety of converting a segment of Mentor to a two-way street. Staff released RFP and received responses from consultants higher than $97K. Additional local fuding in the amount $103K has been appropriate to fully fund the study. This project is funded through the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is a project identified in the TRF nexus study. Projects must be included in the TRF Nexus Study to receive TRF funding.

This project directly supports the City Council's Top 5 Priority of improving roadways and implementing pedestrian and bicycle safety strategies. This project provides for the implementation of the Bicycle Transportation Action Plan, additional on-street bike parking, the retrofit of existing bikeway facilities to meet current Caltrans standards, and the implementation of a bicycle safety and outreach program. It funds critical programming such as Bike Month and Walktober. This project was awarded HSIP Cycle 12, with a grant amount of $ 285,480 and a local match of $31,720 to fund the Union Street Bicycle Facility Extension. Redirecting this balance would eliminate the local match and jeopardize the City's ability to draw down the associated grant funds, effectively canceling the project.

This project is moving forward using all funding for the installation of speed tables and speed cushions as part of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP). The project also directly supports the City Council Top 5 Priority of improving roadways and implementing pedestrian and bicycle safety strategies. This project is partially funded by the Traffic Reduction Fee (TRF), which is identified in the TRF nexus study.

This project directly supports the City Council's Top 5 Priority of improving roadways and implementing pedestrian and bicycle safety strategies. This project supports traffic-calming devices such as speed- feedback signs. This type of work is not typically eligible for grants; DOT relies on the current funding sources to install speed-feedback signs.

Active project - received federal earmark, and funding is needed as local match.

Walkway security lighting updgrades to LED is anticipated to be completed in the forth quarter. Funded needed to pay for construction.

The project is in the planning phase. An RFP is being prepared for consultant selection, with work anticipated to commence later this year. This project requires a local match to secure grant funding through the Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant program in the amount of $442,650. Redirecting this balance would eliminate the local match and jeopardize the City's ability to draw down the associated grant funds, effectively canceling the project.
