Dear PSC Chair Rivas and Council Members:

I would like to voice strong support for the City to enter into a five year contract with Pasadena Humane Society.

We recently depended on the services of the Pasadena Humane Society to neuter a stray cat that had appeared in our complex and to ensure her kittens would hopefully have a better future in loving homes. It was a relief to be able to turn to the Society to help with this situation.

The Society was such a blessing during the Eaton fire and its aftermath, immediately mobilizing resources and taking care of so many animals, including many injured and traumatized ones, and providing support to their owners who has lost everything.

We are lucky in Pasadena and the wider San Gabriel Valley to have such a fabulous partner.

Respectfully,
P.A. Brown
District 6
