RELATED TO THE PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR THE PASADENA HUMANE SOCIETY During the presentation to the Public Safety Committee, the Committee requested information about the total value of the prior contract and the percentage increase of the proposed five-year contract with Pasadena Humane. This memo provides the requested information.
The proposed Pasadena Humane contract for fiscal years 2027–2031 is valued at $10,473,183, representing a 22.9% increase over the approved 2022–2026 contract total of $8,524,938. From FY 2022–2026, the annual cost increased by 3% each year. 06/08/2026
