12. EIFD Public Finance Authority Resolution
The resolution Exhibit B "CITY OF PASADENA ENHANCED INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCING DISTRICT (EIFD) LIST OF AUTHORIZED PUBLIC FACILITIES" states:
"Projects financed by the EIFD may include, but not be limited to, all of the following:
• Police facilities"
I ask the council replace "Police facilities" with^"Public Safety facilities" or "Police and Fire facilities". You went out of your way to list Police, let's include Fire as well.
I support the establishment of EIFD in Pasadena and that among items listed is broadband infrastructure. I hope at the 710 stub project in particular, that there is a prioritization of residential municipal broadband infrastructure and not just government or commercial broadband. We have an opportunity for meaningful digital inclusion here.
