Hello Staff and Councilmember Lyon,
Please accept this letter as formal resignation from the Human Services Commission, effective July 8, 2026.
Serving on the Commission has been a tremendous honor, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the important work of supporting the residents of Pasadena. I sincerely appreciate your confidence in appointing me and the trust you placed in me to serve our community.
During my time on the Commission, I have gained valuable knowledge, built meaningful relationships, and developed an even greater appreciation for the collaborative efforts required to address the complex needs of our community. It has been a privilege to work alongside such dedicated commissioners, City staff, and community leaders who are committed to improving the Lives of others.
While this decision was not made lightly, I have come to realize that my life's work, passion, mission, and professional experience are most closely aligned with the mission of the Commission on the Status of Women. I believe that serving in that capacity will allow me to make the greatest impact while continuing to support the City Council's vision of advancing equity, opportunity, and the well-being of our community.
I remain deeply committed to serving the residents of Pasadena and look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with the City in meaningful ways.
Thank you again for this incredible opportunity to serve. I am truly grateful for the experience and wish you, the Human Services Commission, continued success in advancing the well-being of our community.
